Feeld places the safety and security of our Members above all else. We recognise the trust you put in us when you join our community, as well as the great responsibility we take on accordingly.
As part of this ongoing commitment to our community, we want to share an update on security advancements made this year.
In March of 2024, we received a report from a member of the ethical hacking community, Fortbridge, that there were potential vulnerabilities in the platform for us to investigate. We began our investigation immediately upon notification, with the fixes deployed and resolved by 28th May. We have no evidence at this time that any breach took place, or that any private Member information was accessed by bad actors.
After these fixes were deployed, we engaged an independent third party to further test the fixes, to ensure no additional issues related to this report were present on the platform. During this security update process, Feeld made requests to the Fortbridge team to delay publication of their report while we continued testing for added redundancy. This was in an effort to protect our Members from bad actors who might have sought an opportunity to uncover or expose Member information.
We also recognise that improved communication and speed of communication to both our partners and our Members is of utmost importance, and we’re committed to improving this.
Moving forward, our Members’ safety & security remains our top priority.
We’re currently working to implement new resources and processes to ensure we’re providing the most up-to-date information to our Members on a regular basis. We know our Members deserve transparent and ongoing communication, and we plan to deliver.
We will continue collaborating with the ethical hacking community to identify vulnerabilities, as this only strengthens our platform for the future. We look forward to sharing more on our additional investments in making Feeld a safer space for our community to explore relationships and be themselves.
Once again, thank you for being a part of our community and putting your trust in us. We do not take the responsibility lightly.
Sincerely,
Feeld
