Profile in need of a refresh? Here are some quick tips to improve your chances of getting noticed and making quality connections.
Choose photos wisely
While Feeld aims to build connections that are more than skin deep, your photos are still the first thing members will see, and they do matter.
Quality photos can make a big difference in who notices you. It's not about your physical appearance, it’s about looking approachable and honestly conveying your life and experiences.
Tips for highly engaging photos
- Use recent photos taken in the last few years. People can spot outdated photos.
- Use clear, well-lit photos that showcase your actual life.
- Show variety, not just mirror selfies.

Showing your face on Feeld
If you’re not comfortable showing your face on Feeld, we won’t force you to. But not doing so will significantly impact your experience. Faceless profiles are far less likely to make connections and are sometimes mistrusted.
If you’re worried about being seen on Feeld by people you don’t want seeing you, check out the Incognito feature. This Majestic membership feature allows you to explore Discover and only be seen by members you like/Ping first.

Add (at least a few) bio details and interests
Fill out your bio and interests. While a fully built-out profile is best, even a small amount of detail significantly increases the attention you’re likely to receive compared to blank profiles.
And be specific. Vague, cliche bios blend into the crowd. Give prospective connections some conversation starters.
Tips for engaging bio details
-
Bio: Be honest and open, but stay positive:
- How do you see yourself?
- What do others know you for?
- Focus on things you like, not things you don’t like
-
Be specific. e.g., Instead of saying you like to be active, say what activities you like to do.
- Interests: Be specific (e.g., instead of “Running”, try something like “Trail running with my dog”; instead of “Reading”, try something like “Fantasy romance novels”).

Get feedback
From your good side to your dark side, friends can help you build a well-rounded profile that reflects how others see you, not just how you see yourself.
Screenshot your profile or share your profile link and send it to someone you trust, but brace yourself for constructive criticism (or compliments).
