Note: This feature is currently only available in some locations, and on the app version 7.10.1 and above.
Photo verification is an optional feature where you can match one of your profile photos with a live selfie to get a Verified profile badge.
Verifying your profile shows others you're a real person that looks like the photo used to verify. It increases trust and credibility, making it easier to connect with other members.
How to know if someone’s verified
Look out for the Verified badge (a small icon with a checkmark), in these 3 places on their profile:
- Next to their name
- On the photo they used to verify
- In the bar on the photo gallery, showing where the verified photo is
How to verify your profile
- Open Feeld.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap ‘Edit profile’, then ‘Edit photos’.
- Tap ‘Get verified’.
- Choose a profile photo and continue through the steps to take a live selfie.
Tip: Make sure your selfie looks like the photo you chose to verify.
Both your profile photo and your live selfie are sent to our third-party provider, Veriff, who confirms the likeness. Your information is shared solely for this purpose, and both Feeld and Veriff implement robust measures to protect your data.

Is verification linked to my identity?
No, photo verification only confirms that your profile photos represent you. We don’t ask for ID or personal information.
I can’t see the option to get verified
This might be because:
- All of your profile photos are private, or were hidden. You need to have public photos showing your face to verify.
- You're already verified, or pending verification. Look out for a Verified badge next to your name.
- The feature isn’t available in your location yet.
- You don’t have the latest version of the app. It must be on version 7.10.1 or above.
