Introduction
Feeld’s consensual nudity detection and blurring lets you manage how images containing nudity are displayed in chats, giving you control over your experience.
By automatically blurring images that may contain full or partial nudity or sexual content, this gives you extra privacy and safety, while allowing you the flexibility to adjust your settings to your comfort level.
This page outlines how to manage your settings for all chats, for individual chats, or for individual images.
How it works
- Images containing full or partial nudity or sexual content will be automatically blurred when this is switched on.
- Blurred images can be viewed by tapping on them.
- Our automations may not always get it right. Please [let us know](contact page on website) if you think there’s been a mistake.
- You can set nudity detection settings to match your preferences.
- You can control image blurring at three levels: for all chats, for individual chats, or on an image-by-image basis.
Managing your image detection settings
For all chats
- Go to App Settings > Blur sensitive images for all chats.
- The toggle is OFF by default, meaning nudity won’t automatically be detected unless you want it to be.
- When ON: Images that we detect as containing nudity or sexual activity will be automatically blurred in all chats.
- When OFF: All images are visible by default.
Per chat settings
- Open a chat, go to the menu, and select Chat options > Blur sensitive images for this chat.
- Turning the toggle ON applies blurring only to the selected chat.
- If the global setting is ON, this individual chat setting can be used to override the default.
- Your choice applies only to the selected conversation.
Individual images
- If an image is blurred in a chat, you’ll see a placeholder with the message: “This image may contain sensitive content. Tap to reveal.”
- To view the image, tap the blurred placeholder. The image will remain blurred until you choose to reveal it.
- Tap it again to hide it.
Good to know
- This feature helps create a safe, consensual environment by ensuring you’re in control of what you see.
- Blurring occurs automatically based on Feeld’s nudity detection system. No manual review is involved.
- Changing global or chat-specific settings does not automatically unblur previously blurred images. You must manually tap to reveal those images.

Can I report image content?
Yes, Feeld encourages members to report any inappropriate or unsolicited images. Use the Report option from your chat menu and and select Inappropriate message in chat.

Blurring applies to both timed and untimed images.
Q: If I unblur an image, will it be visible to others?
The unblurred image is only visible to you.
Is the detection 100% accurate?
