It’s smart to minimize distractions, but you’ll want to know when your Connections are sending you new messages. Feeld notifications are totally in your control. This article outlines how to manage the notifications you receive from Feeld.
Manage Notification Settings on Your Device
Both Apple and Android devices give you full control of how and when you receive notification from any app, including Feeld.
In order to receive any Feeld notifications, you’ll need to enable these at a device level. If you don’t, you won’t receive any notice when someone messages you in chats.
To learn about device-level notification settings available to you, check out these resources:
iOS: Change notification settings on iPhone
Android: Control notifications on Android
Mute Notifications for Individual Chats
If you want a break from notifications you’re receiving from a certain someone, you can mute individual chats in Feeld. This will stop notifications from that chat only. You can unmute the chat again at any time.
Check out Mute a Chat to see how it’s done.
Note: The only way to turn off notifications for all chats would be to turn off all Feeld notifications in your device settings.
News Notifications from Feeld
Want to receive updates about experiences, opportunities, and news at Feeld as a notification on your device? You can.
To turn this type of notification on or off:
- In Feeld, tap Settings > App settings
- Turn the Receive updates from Feeld toggle on or off.
