Age verification is required in some specific locations in order to use Feeld. Check out Age verification in Feeld to learn where it’s required and how it works. But if you’re using Feeld in a location that requires age verification and you fail verification (or choose not to verify), this article outlines everything you need to know.
What to do if you fail age verification
Important
This information is for Feeld app version 8.2 and newer. Older versions of Feeld won't have the same authorization methods. Be sure your app is up-to-date.
If you’re 18+ and fail to verify your age on your first try, don’t worry; you'll have options in the app to help you verify.

If you fail one age verification method:
- You can retry that method one time.
- You can immediately try the other verification method.
- You can retry that method one time.

If you fail both methods:
- You'll be prompted with a third method, allowing you to verify using an ID.
If you fail all of the above options, you will unfortunately not be able to use Feeld in that location.
What happens to my account while it’s banned for age verification?
If you’re prompted to verify your age in the Feeld app, your account is banned until you verify.
When an account is banned:

New members:

Can’t complete registration until they verify their age.

Can’t complete registration until they verify their age.

Existing members:

Can’t access app features.

Won’t appear in Discover.

Won’t appear on the Who Likes You tab for members they’ve already liked.

Your connections can’t message you. They’ll see “Account paused” under your name in the chats list.

What happens if I don't verify my age?
If you’re just signing up, you can’t register until you’ve verified your age.
If you’re an existing member, your account will stay banned until one of the following happens:
- You successfully verify your age.

You physically leave the age verification area (if verification is based solely on your physical location).
Note: If age verification is required based on the phone number associated with your account, you must verify, even if you leave that location
- The account is terminated due to 1 year of inactivity.
