Incognito is a privacy feature available to Majestic members. It lets you view profiles in Discover without showing up in other members's Discover, unless you like or Ping them first.
This prevents you from being seen on Feeld by people you wouldn’t want seeing you.
How incognito works
With incognito turned on:
- Other Feeld Members won’t see you in their Discover, but you will see them (unless they also have incognito enabled).
- If you like someone, your profile will become visible to them in their Discover. If they're also a Majestic member, you'll be visible in their ‘Who Likes You’.
Note: A previous version of incognito used Facebook to decide when to hide your profile. Being linked to Facebook no longer affects how incognito works.
Good to know
-
Turning on incognito may reduce the number of potential connections you can make, as you’ll never see others who also have incognito enabled.
-
After enabling incognito, it may take a short time for your profile to be removed from everyone’s Discover feed.
- If your Majestic membership lapses or is canceled, your profile will become 'hidden' (unless it's been deactivated).
- If you have linked Constellation partners, their profile will show you as "Partner hidden" to anyone you haven't liked/Pinged/connected with yet.
- When Incognito is enabled, your Settings icon in the navigation bar will become a mask icon.
Turn incognito on/off
- In Feeld, tap Settings.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Under Privacy settings, turn the Go incognito toggle on or off.
- Click Save. If you don’t, you’ll be asked to confirm the change before leaving the page.
