If your Feeld account has been banned, this article will guide you through everything you need to know, including how to appeal if you think the ban is unjustified.
Why have I been banned?
If you're a legitimate Feeld Member and you've been banned, you've probably been reported by other Feeld members. Or, you may have also triggered some of our auto-detection measures.
To protect our community, we automatically ban accounts that are repeatedly reported.
Members report accounts for many reasons. Sometimes these reports are because you’ve breached our Community Guidelines. But sometimes Members report profiles for other reasons when you haven’t broken any actual rules. Read on for reasons you may have been reported/banned.
If you haven't breached any of our guidelines intentionally, you can appeal the ban and we’ll work with you to restore your account.
Appeal a Ban
Read through the common reasons profiles get banned. If you think you've been banned unjustly, reach out to our Support team. We'll verify the reason for the ban and, if justified, restore your access.
Even when you’ve breached our guidelines, bans aren't necessarily final, and you will have the right to appeal in most cases. We’ll take into account the severity of the situation, and we may give you a warning before unbanning you and/or limit access to your account temporarily.
We'll make this decision at our discretion, and we reserve the right to permanently ban any accounts that breach our Community Guidelines, Photo Guidelines and Terms of use. We do not offer refunds for justified bans.
Common Reasons Profiles Get Reported/Banned
Your account may be reported or banned if you've breached our community rules. To help you identify any issues, we've also compiled a (non-exhaustive) list of things that will get you banned:
-
Your photos are sexually explicit, or they show nudity, violence, hate speech or guns. Read our Photo Guidelines to understand what types of photos are not allowed.
-
You have sent unsolicited photos of genitalia or of sexual nature to other Feeld members.
-
You have photos of or with children on your profile.
-
Your profile description includes links to third-party websites and apps or phone numbers. While linking your Instagram is allowed, other members may suspect you're not real and report your profile. Including Kik, Telegram or Google Meet handles is not allowed.
-
Your profile advertises a product, service, or event. To protect our Community, only our official partners can advertise events on Feeld.
-
Your profile description solicits money for sex, or includes mentions to OnlyFans, Cash App or findom.
-
Your profile description or photos contain threatening, abusive, offensive, racist, xenophobic, ageist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, and/or sexist comments.
-
You have been threatening, abusive, offensive, racist, xenophobic, ageist, ableist, homophobic, transphobic, and/or sexist or otherwise discriminatory to other Feeld members, on chat or offline.
-
You use Feeld to catfish other members, or you're misrepresenting yourself in your description and/or photos.
-
Your online or offline behavior breaches our Community Guidelines.
Note: We're not able to offer any refunds for banned accounts.
Other Reasons Profiles Get Reported
Here are some of the common reasons why other Feeld members may have reported your profile that aren’t necessarily a breach of any Feeld rules.
Note: When a profile is reported by multiple Members, we automatically ban it to be safe. But if an appeal review of the reports shows no actual wrongdoing, the ban will be reversed.
-
Your profile description is blank.
-
You don't have any face photos. You don't have to show your face if you don't want to, but your profile is more likely to be reported.
-
You have no photos on your profile, or photos of low resolution.
-
You’re a couple using a single profile. We encourage our members to use paired profiles, but we understand that not all couples feel comfortable using separate accounts. If you're not part of a couple and mislead other members to believe you are, we'll ban you permanently.
-
Your account is listed as a different gender than how you present yourself. We absolutely don't want to police your description or your gender, even if it doesn't match the way you present yourself, but other members may think you're a catfish and flag your profile. If this happens to you and it wasn't your intention to deceive anyone, we will unban you.
- You have created several accounts in the past. You can terminate and create a Feeld account as many times as you want, but if other members see several accounts with similar photos and/or description, they may suspect that you're fake or a bot and flag your account. This can also happen if you create multiple accounts by accident.
If you think you’ve been banned for any of these reasons, you can appeal to have your account restored.
