If you are having trouble accessing Feeld, check to be sure you are attempting to log in using the same credentials or method as when you signed up. For example:
Are you using the correct email address? Trying to log in using a different email address than the one we have on file for you may result in creating a new account, or encountering an error message that your phone number is already in use.
To troubleshoot, try logging in with a different email address. If you feel you are using the right credentials, please contact us (by clicking the chat button at the bottom-right corner) and include the email address and phone number associated with your Feeld account in your message so we can investigate further.
Did you create your account with Facebook? Trying to log in with email when you created your Feeld account using Facebook will result in linking your accounts together only if the email matches the email used for your Facebook credentials. However, you will have to re-link your Facebook in App Settings once you’ve logged in. If you use a different email than your Facebook credentials, this may result in creating a new account or encountering an error message that your phone number is already in use.
If you created your Feeld account using Facebook, the fastest way to log in is using Facebook. If you wish to be able to log in with your email address, you simply need to add your email address to your Feeld account.
To do so, log in using your Facebook credentials and then connect your Feeld account to your email address.
To add an email to your Feeld account:
- Open Feeld > Go to Feeld Settings > Select App Settings.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the screen > tap on the Email button.
- Enter your email address.
- Open the Feeld confirmation email in your email inbox and tap 'Confirm my email' (note: be sure to check your spam/junk folder).
You will then be able to log in using either Facebook or email. If you want to use email only, you can unlink your Facebook account.
Do you have several Facebook accounts? If you try to log in using Facebook, but are being asked to create a new account, it may be that your device is having trouble distinguishing between several Facebook accounts.
In this case, you can try to:
- Log out of your Facebook account in your device Settings.
- Log out of your Facebook account in the Safari/Chrome browser and Incognito Tab.
- Log out of the Facebook app.
- Log in to Feeld.
- Enter your Facebook details through the browser popup that will open.
Are you trying to add Facebook to your Feeld account? If you created your Feeld account with an email address or through Apple SSO and you are trying to link your account with Facebook, you must first be logged in using your email or Apple credentials, and then connect your Feeld account to your Facebook in App Settings.
To add your Facebook to your Feeld account:
- Log into your Feeld account using email or Apple SSO.
- Open Feeld > Go to Feeld Settings > Select App Settings.
- Tap on the Facebook button.
- Allow Feeld permissions to link to your Facebook.
If you try to link your Facebook with your account without being logged in, your account will not be linked.
