Feeld Cores are areas with high concentrations of members, and virtual locations where you can connect with Feeld members from around the globe.
You will find two different types of Cores on Feeld: Locations and Virtual Locations.
Locations
If you live in a place where the app is still growing, or you simply want to 'visit' other cities and meet local people on Feeld without travelling, you can teleport your profile to one of our Feeld Cores.
This is specially useful if you're planning to visit one of the Core cities and want to meet some people before your travels.
Currently, you can travel virtually to the following Core cities, but we may expand our Core cities in the future:
- New York
- London
- São Paulo
- Los Angeles
- Chicago
- Paris
- Amsterdam
- Toronto
- San Francisco
- Melbourne
- Berlin
- Singapore
- Las Vegas
- Austin (US only)
- Portland (US only)
- Washington DC (US only)
Virtual Locations
Feeld Cores are not limited to only cities. We've introduced Cores that are not linked to a physical place: virtual locations where you can connect with other Feled members with similar interests or in similar circumstances to yours.
We currently have the following Cores, but we may add more Cores in the future:
- Staying at Home: For those who want to connect with other Feeld members from around the world without the need for travel (or hand sanitiser).
- Remote Trios: For people looking for three-way connections.
- Fantasy Bunker: For those ready to skip the small talk.
How to travel to a Core
To teleport to one of our Cores:
-
Go to your Feeld profile (click on the 'Settings' tab in the bottom right corner).
-
Scroll down to Search Settings > Feeld Core Location.
-
Choose the Core you wish to teleport your profile to.
From any Core, you can go back to your current location by following the same steps and choosing Current Location instead. At the moment, you can only be in one Core, or in your current location, at any time — your profile won't be visible to people in your local area while you're using a Core.
