Pings vs. Likes

When you come across a Member you want to connect with, you can Like them and see if they Like you back. Or, you can Ping them to notify that person (with a personal note if you’d like*) that they really caught your eye.

Pings and Likes both open up the opportunity for that Member to connect with you, and both will remove them from your Discover. But Likes and Pings differ in a few important ways.

Here are the key difference between Likes and Pings:

Likes:

• Majestic Members can Like an unlimited number of profiles each day.
  
  
• Only Majestic Members can see who Liked them without connecting.
  
  
• Once you Like a Member, there is no way to also Ping them.
  
  
• Likes can’t include a personal note.

Pings:

• Majestic Members get 1 included Ping per day. These do not roll over if unused.
  
  
• Both Free and Majestic Members can purchase Pings.
  
  
• Pinged Members are alerted by notifications and in-app, even Free Members.
  Note: Members need device notifications enabled to receive Ping notifications outside of the app.
  
  
• Any Member can view the Pings they receive and who Pinged them.
  
  
• Pings can include a personal note (unless the Member has opted out of Ping Notes).
