Safely responding to troubling encounters on Feeld
If you have a troubling encounter on the app, these tips can help you respond safely.
Offensive behavior
If you come across an offensive person or profile, please report it. If they were offensive in chat, give us as much detail as possible about the interaction in the report.
Stolen identity or images
If you believe that your (or someone else's) identity, likeness, or images are being used without permission, please report it.
We work to remove fake users from the platform as quickly as possible.
Harmful threats
If you encounter anyone who is posing a threat to you or to others, please report them and include details of the threat that was made.
If criminal activity has occurred, we strongly encourage you to report any incidents to law enforcement in your area if you feel safe doing so.
Self-harm/Suicidal ideation
If you interact with someone who expresses a wish to self-harm, we recommend that you urge this person to reach out to a suicide helpline or seek help in their vicinity or support system. If the desire to self-harm is expressed publicly on the person's profile, please contact us and include identifying details (profile screenshots, username, age, location, ‘about’).
Offensive or criminal offline behavior
If you have been the victim of sexual assault or harassment, we encourage you to contact law enforcement in your area immediately if you feel safe doing so. We also advise you to report them or contact our Support team with identifying details of the offender and a description of the incident. We have zero tolerance for this behavior and will remove perpetrators from our community as soon as we identify them.
