What are Pings?

Pings let you immediately notify someone you’re interested in to increase your chances of making a Connection.

You can buy as many Pings as you'd like to send. Majestic Members get one Ping a day included with their subscription. As you send Pings, the number you have remaining will show in your Settings.

I want to send a Ping. What should I do?

Here's how:

1. Locate the person you'd like to Ping.
2. Tap the orange Ping icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. You can choose to add a note to your Ping to catch their attention .
4. You'll see a confirmation screen telling you the person will see your profile before others. Tap 'Send Ping'.
5. The Member you Pinged will receive a notification, and your profile will appear on the top row of their Pings screen. If you don't have any Pings left, you'll be able to buy more.
6. If the person accepts your Ping, a Connection is made and a chat will open. You'll be able to chat with this new Connection the same way you would with any other Connection.

I have received a Ping. What do I do now?

If you receive a Ping (with or without a note), it will appear on the Who Likes You tab (Pings page). This doesn't mean that you've connected with this person.

You can sort Pings by Most recent, Last seen, or Closest to me.

From here you can either accept their Ping by tapping ‘✓’, or decline by tapping ‘–’.

If you accept, a Connection is made and a chat will open. You will be able to chat with this new Connection the same way you would with any other Connection. If they’ve attached a Note with their Ping, the message will appear again inside the chat.

If you decline the Ping, a Connection won't be made.
