There are a few reasons someone may no longer be available to chat with in Feeld:
- Member you chatted with is missing from chat list
- This means the member has terminated their account or they blocked you.
- If you’ve interacted with the member recently, you’ll see a banner letting you know a conversation is gone.
- Terminated accounts can never be restored.
- If they’ve blocked you, this can’t be undone.
- The chat history is gone and cannot be recovered.
- To report this member, tap Settings > Help center > Contact support in Feeld. Tell Feeld bot “I want to report someone", and it’ll guide you from there.
- Chat says “Account paused”
- This means the member’s account is paused.
- The chat will stay in your chats list for now, but you can’t send any messages.
- If the member returns, you can continue chatting from where you left off.
- You can still report or block this member from the options menu in chat if needed.
- You can tap the X in the chats list to disconnect from the member.
- This removes the chat and its history.
- You won’t be able to chat with the member if they return.
Note: If a connection’s account is paused before you start chatting, their avatar will be removed from the connections row. They’ll reappear there if they return to Feeld.
- Chat says “[name] left the chat”
- This means the member disconnected from you.
- The chat history remains viewable for 30 days from the time of disconnection.
- You can still report or block this member from the options menu in the chat for 30 days from disconnection.
- The chat will stay in your chats list until you delete it.
